Void EnginePrivacy Policy
1. Overview
Void Engine ("the Site") is a free, non-commercial fan project. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes.
2. Who We Are
The Site is operated as a personal fan project by an individual based in Guatemala. It has no commercial purpose and generates no revenue.
3. What Data We Collect
When you log in with Google, we receive and store the following from your Google account:
- Your Google account ID (internal identifier)
- Your display name
- Your email address
- Your profile picture URL
- The date and time of your first login and most recent login
We also store content you create on the Site:
- Deck names, formats, notes, and card lists
- Card lists (titles and card selections)
- Your preferences as configured in the Site settings
We do not collect payment information, physical addresses, or phone numbers. We do not run advertising networks, analytics trackers, or third-party cookies.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To identify you across sessions so your decks and lists are saved to your account
- To display your name and avatar within the Site
- To associate decks and lists you create with your account
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any automated decision-making.
5. Google OAuth
Login is handled through Google's OAuth 2.0 service. By logging in you are also subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We only request the openid, email, and profile scopes. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google service.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a database on a shared hosting server (DreamHost, USA). We take reasonable technical measures to secure the data, but no internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure. Use of the Site is at your own risk.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the Site. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you have not logged in for an extended period or request deletion, your data will be removed.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
